Service Description

Join a community of like-minded music enthusiasts, led by Beatles expert Walter Everett, Professor of Music at the University of Michigan and author of The Beatles as Musicians, What Goes On, and The Foundations of Rock . Each week you'll have free access to the 45-minute "All Together Now" presentation, then you'll meet in a small group seminar with Dr. Everett to explore topics like the relationship of lyrics to harmony, melody, rhythm, tone color, formal structure, and recording techniques in Beatles songs from 1968, including "Across the Universe," "Hey Jude" and "Lady Madonna". The course will be conducted on Zoom. Enrollment is limited to twenty-five participants on a first-come first-served basis. NOTE that the All Together Now presentation is include free with Seminar; you do not need to sign up for it separately.
